Broadway Baptist Church

Ministries at Broadway

We are convinced that God intended His church to minister for the purpose of growing the church body. "(God) has given...pastors and teachers to prepare God’s people for works of ministry, so the body of Christ may be built up." Ephesians 4:11-12.  At Broadway we have a variety of age appropriate ministries aimed at building up the church body. A sample of these ministries and associated leader are listed below.

Discipleship - We want you to grow in your faith, love, and knowledge of God.

If you're new to Broadway we recommend you attend the member orientation classes normally offered on Sunday afternoon from 2 to 5 p.m. on the second Sunday of the month.  Free pizza afterwards!

If you've been worshipping with us more than a couple of Sundays we invite you to attend Sunday evening discipleship classes from 6 to 7 p.m.

We recommend EVERYONE take a one-on-one discipleship course called "Knowing God Personally."  It's five sessions, about an hour and a half per session.  We'll connect with someone to take you through it.  It's easy and rewarding!

Men's Ministry/Yokefellows - Men get together on Thursday evenings at 6:30 p.m. to catch up on what’s happening in one another’s lives, have a devotional, and then maybe take care of a maintenance project around the church or visit and help individuals or families. The first Saturday of each month we have breakfast together at 7 a.m. and do a couple of hours of service around the church property or help some of the congregation.
